Please stop the deportation of Germar Rudolf
Af dr. Christian Lindtner

Dear Mr. President Bush
Mr. Germar Rudolf is one of the finest and most honest young
scholars that I know of. There is no reason whatsoever for
deporting him, as intended, to Germany where he faces a long
sentence in jail - simply, to be quite honest, for having
expressed unpopular views about certain events of past
European history.

Germar Rudolf
Whenever we can, we should step forward to defend freedom
of speech and research. When we disagree, we should argue, not
punish. Such is, I need not say, the spirit of democracy.
Having taught and lectured at numerous US
universities in the past, I have a great respect for the spirit of
freedom that still exists in your great country. May it prevail! Mr
Rudolf incorporates all the finest virtues, courage, honesty,
decency, that we all so much appreciate. I think that Mr Jefferson,
my great American hero, whose university in Charlottesville I
visited for several months as a scholar, would have considered Mr
Rudolf a very good American!
I do hope you will fiind the time to attend to this
matter, which is not as trivial as it may seem. It is, in the
end, a matter of defending freedom and liberty.
I am sure that there are many good Danes who will be grateful to
you for undertaking a personal presidential intervention so as to
prevent injustice from taking place.
May God be with You!
Respectfully yours,
Dr. Christian Lindtner
